Well being for your child

On this page, you will find information about how to support your child's well being. As a school, we focus on well being and mindfulness within our PSHE programme (Jigsaw). There are six themes throughout the year:

- Being me in my world

- Celebrating difference 

- Dreams and goals 

- Healthy me 

- Relationships 

- Changing me

If children require additional support, we have an Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA) who supports children through a targetted programme of well being. We can also access support from the Well Being Worker and Mental Health Team from the Education Department. Please speak to you child's classteacher for more information about this.

Bereavement 

Child experience loss in many different ways. Our PSHE programme explores loss and how we might feel during this time. It is important that children know that these feelings are normal and have space to reflect and talk about their loss.
